Hi guys, I own a 2004 Cadillac CTS, 3.6L. It has 133,000KM. I noticed a couple of times in the last week when I reversed out of my parking spot and put the car into drive and when it hits second gear the car just jerks hard. I'm not sure what it can be. It drives fine after. Also its pretty cold where I live, however I do warm the car up for 3-5min. If anyone has expirenced this please let me know how I can resolve it. I recently purchased this vehicle and the display says the tranny fluid is at 60% life. :banghead:

When you say that you warm the car up for 3 to 4 minutes, how is the question? Do you start it, either by key or remote starter, and let it sit for 3 to 4 minutes? If that is the case, then you are not warming up the transmission. Your warming up the engine only, so the tranny will not be warm enough when you drive off. It just sounds like it's telling you "hey, let me warm up"
