FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD:

The car was in "Dark Cherry" with matching roof & "Garnet" Cloth seating, and was made in August (18th) for photographic purposes for the 1993 sales brochure. By the end of August, the decession was made to discontinue the model, and the photographs were destroyed, and that section was never included in the sales catalog. It is unknown where that car wound up, but there is a fairly good chance that it was made withOUT a VIN and therefore if so, it was destroyed. I searched for it for some time, and finally gave up. It was built with no options.

Sandy,

I'm fairly new to the site, although I have owned 17 Cadillacs since 1972...

I have been researching the production numbers for my 1992 FLEETWOOD COUPE and your data is THE source here...

Wiki-Pedia sources show 291 Fleetwood Coupes for 1992... any ideas about the descrepancies.

Thanks for any help... I enjoy reading your responses on the Forum!

Best regards,
Mark Harmon

Thank you Drewsdeville for the update on Sandy.

I was wondering what happened to Sandy after he stopped answering my personal emails and no one on this site seemed to have known about his much too early passing. I knew he was battling cancer but I optimistically thought he had it beat. I am truly sad that Sandy was only 65 years old and much to young to be taken away especially from his family. For those who are new to this site, Sandy was a wealth of knowledge and knew pretty much everything that there was to know about the FWD Fleetwood and Sixty Special and provided us with invaluable data on production numbers, colors etc etc.

RIP my brother and may I say you were an inspiration to me and many other Sixty Special owners.
