I don't own a Caddy and came across your page from a Honda forum. I have an Accord with leather and it's probably not the same leather as in a Caddy so do you think it's wise to use the Dove/Pledge method on my leather upholstery?

I wish that I could help you. I have that info back to & including 1985 - but nothing older.
I have color breakouts from 1985 to like 2004 when my contact retired.

Sandy - I hear you are the authority on most things involving Cadillac. I am in the process of purchasing a 1980 Seville (standard - not Elegante.) I seem to remember that there was a change mid-year in two tone paint options outside of Elegante. I have been unsuccessful in finding any color charts outside of 1981 where there were 13 two tone options on the standard Seville. Any suggestions? Thanks stl6pack - 79 Sedan Deville my grandfather's last car - (atlantis aqua) 1967 Eldorado - my uncle bought it in 1969 and I have restored it beyond its original beauty _ (sudan beige) 2008 Lincoln Navigator - an excellent american car!

    Hi Sandy,

It sounds like you are the authority on this forum regarding rare Cadillacs, in particular the Fleetwood Limited.

I was wondering, if I sent you all of the info on mine and some pictures, if you would be so kind to take a look and give me your opinion on how much I should ask for this car and where I should post it. Or maybe recommend someone who could appraise it for me.

I have searched craigslist and ebay and cannot find any comparables at all. KBB, NADA and Edmonds have nothing. I would really like to sell it to someone who knows what it is and appreciates it.

If you don't have time I understand, I still appreciate all of the information you have added to this forum.

Wayne, visit any body shop. Explain to them as you did to me.
Your goal is to see the paint book. Turn to the Cadillac section, and begin with 1967. You need the mix codes, so as a favor to the shop that lets you see the master book, order the paint from them.
Good Luck and I seldom check this spot so I.D. yourself in title line as from this site and write my e-mail

Hi Sandy I just registered today .I found your thread on Firemist colors online . Althought I don't own a Cadilac I love the firemist colors. Back in the mid 70's I painted a Camaro I had a firemist color, it was the most beautiful color I could have picked. I don't know the name of the color but, I am rebuilding a 69 Camaro and would like to paint it the same color. Do you know where I could find a list of the colors with pictures so I cam try to get the same color as before. I hope I'm not bothering you , I tried to find something on here but had no luck. Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time Wayne
