2024 xt4. Oil leak. Cam shaft carrier had to replace a gasket. ALREADY!
Finally got it home. Had another oil leak. Thus time upper timing chain cover gasket. Very disappointing with a new car.

So sorry to hear you're having fluid leak issues with your 2024 XT4, @Rnettml. 😕 I dealt with a similar fluid leak issue with our 2020 model year, luckily, it was relatively minor in comparison to what you and several other have documented.
If these issues are covered via warranty, get them repaired ASAP so you can return to enjoying the things most of us enjoy about the XT4 (in spite of its shortcomings).

I have had them fixed.

Had both of these replaced, only in reverse order of Rnettml on my ‘19 Sport. First the upper timing chain cover gasket, then the camshaft carrier. First new car I ever purchased and it made me sick. Can’t understand why GM has not irradiated this problem on the 2.0 turbo LSY engine. Total crap to hear that this is still going on

I found that the 'timing chain tensioner' has a revision number on it - this was probably the culprit. Endurance picked up my repair minus $100 deductible and had to pay for 'wear parts'. I don't know- seems like 'all cars' not only Cadillac have become 'wealth destroyers'! Sounds like a 'class action' might be brewing here- similar to what happened to the 6.2 liter V8 debacle. If you pay over $50K for a vehicle you should 'demand perfection'!
