A few weeks ago, my son and I saw two pink (Mary Kay) CTS Sedans, about 5 miles apart within 10 minutes of each other. We have never seen any before and all of a sudden, there were 2 ! Maybe a local meeting of some sort ?

 

I rarely see them driving around. I was just curious if anybody had seen or heard of one. I think it would be cool.

 

You probably won't. They take that very seriously. That pink color is like a trade secret, and when they sell the cars off they have them repainted.

It's crazy.

 

The glacier blue is pretty terrible. That could pass as a Mary car....hehe

 

God I hope not. Bad enough Justin Bieber has one.

 

I believe that they pick what they want, and get it in their signature pink. Isn't JB's still matte?

 

There's a Mary Kay pink Escalade running around Las Vegas. It's the full-zoot high end trim model, they're like $90K right? So it's not the cost of the Caddi that is the issue. Wouldn't surprise me to see then do a V...

I am a freelance graphic designer. I've been editing and enhancing photos for years. I believe the original picture is a white CTS-V. The editor manually selected the outline of the car and colorized it. Proof that this was done can be be seen:

Front bumper, passenger side, above fog light. Zoom in the two parallel white lines. As the lines intersect the car they disappear. This was caused by the selection tool feathering the edges.

Front bumper, passenger side, below fog light. Zoom in on the front lip. The manual selection didn't quite get it right. The line between the lip and paint should be straight, but it isn't. My guess is a reflection caused this mistake.

Front bumper, driver side, below fog light. Zoom in on the front lip. You can clearly see a white line between the lip and pink paint. Again the selection tool probably missed this area due to a reflection.

There are other areas I can point out but I feel three is enough to show proof it is fake.

I have no training and took one look at that and thought "Not even a good photochop" An unsteady hand on a wacom pad around the front grille was a dead giveaway without even blowing it up.

 

Can any of you talented guys do the NRA edition with the black and grey camo exterior and wheels (tasteful of course with none of that matte $hit)? We might leave off the roof mounted mini gun to keep the liberals from fainting. I might do it if I lived closer to Foose and had unlimited funds. Sorry to wander but it's a good evil companion (with NRA sticker in rear window) to the Mary Kay edition.

I just did a quickie look on my phone. I figured it was photoshopped, but you never know about people and their taste of cars and colors.
