I've got good news, Stephanie at Porterfield says they have a pad that fits our front calipers. The compound used is R4-S and they are $199 for the front pads and $109 for the rear set. I linked below to their website for the Cadillac CT6-V

R4-S High Performance Street Brake Pads
For high performance and heavy duty street conditions the Porterfield R4-S compound remains a top performer in the realm of street/performance brake pads. With the R4-S compound giving a friction level up to .41. This is an amazingly fast stopping brake pad. Simply put, they will give you an impressive increase in stopping ability with very minimum amount of pedal effort. Perfect for prolonged everyday street driving while also being capable of enduring the most severe use without fade. It is also rotor friendly of course. We have gone to great measures to ensure that the R4-S compound has the absolute lowest noise and dust levels possible, far below O.E.M. equipment or any other high performance brake material. The R4-S compound which has an overall win in the Baja 1000 is available for most models of cars, trucks, and SUV’s. Superb stopping power under heavy use. Great for occasional autocrossing, solo events, off road events and rallies. Perhaps one of the overall best performing, clean and quiet everyday high performance driving brake pad ever made.
Looks like the steel retention springs and the break wear sensors will work from original pads.

Hey I just had a question, so I’ve seen other forums which stated that you would have to order the brake pad sensors separately, and my question is would I have to get oem sensors from the dealer or does poterfield have sensors that go with their brake pads.(I’m only looking to replace the rear pads if that is relevant)

One of the two sensors showed up as "no longer available" from GM last time I checked. (I don't remember if it was front or rear).

When I saw that I checked the parts stores and found that Dorman makes a replacement.

I did not see the option to order them from Porterfield.

Sounds good thanks for the help! I’m going to be giving my dealer a call hopefully they are available for the rear.

I'm swapping wheels and brakes (Porterfield) front and rear with new sensors as well in a couple of weeks. I'm almost at 50k miles and was wondering if anyone has replaced the rotors yet? My son does this at his shop and he'll turn the rotors for me. Has anyone installed aftermarket drilled or slotted rotors and seen any difference?

drilled and slotted eat brake pads up. If you are tracking it then yes it helps with brake fade otherwise i'd avoid that. Wow you have a v sport too? I had two of them that i tracked, now i just have the ct6 twins but i loved my v sports. One of the best cars cadillac ever built.

I need to sell mine to my son. but he's buying a house so he can't. Since it won't bring much money in the market I am keeping it.
I do love the chassis so much on that car.

I have Porterfields on my car, but with stock rotors. Before this car I had a supercharged Bonneville SSEi onto which I installed EBC Brakes dimpled and slotted rotors. Stopping created such a loud "whirring" sound after doing so that I hated driving with the windows down! Never doing that again on a non-track car.

Yes, I had to have my rotors swapped at 52k personally. Since I found rotors for a sweetheart deal from someone, I stuck with the OEM ones.

I have taken the PFs out to the track a few times over the past two years and haven't had any brake fade personally. (Three laps max hitting brakes in the straights around 97-110MPH)

In a few years I might transfer over to the slotted for track weekends to avoid the sound that mzbk2l has mentioned.
