I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and a few members here dont like them. I personally love them. There are 2 version of this light. One is a direct bolt on specifically for the Escy, other covers Tahoe/Yuk/Burb.

The issue with me is the Escy version has red turn signal (confirmed) and possibly the entire length of the light including the separated turn signal section illuminates with Turn or Brake activity due to our 2 wire style brake light. Where as the Tahoe version is signal area is yellow (just like the 2015-17 Escy) and only flashes yellow when the turn signal is activated & brake side will only light when brakes are pressed.

The write up will be on how to install the Tahoe version on our trucks
Quick way to deal with wiring (involve wire being ran)
Elimination on the hyperflash with no resistor's (pretested & passed)
No cutting of wires (3 taps so far)
Removing the long Escy 3rd brake/swap to short Tahoe style (optional)

Might possibly do a 2 wire to 3 wire convertor write up but Ive already see one flaw. In everyone Ive looked at is rated for incandescent and will require 2-4 resistor as well as a blocking diode or 2.

Remember this write will be for installation of the non Escy version , which mimics the 2015-17 to the letter and is also cheaper. 499 vs 539, my seller accepted a $440 offer.

Simple Like or comment is all I need from a few members

Here is a video of the dedicated Escy version (2015 model shown but same manufacturer made the lights)
Notice entire brake/turn sig lights up or flashes.

Tahoe with aftermarket lights, 2015 escy behave exactly same way This is what Im aiming for.

I was driving on 35 south in the Austin Texas area on Saturday and I caught a glimpse of an ESV, 07-14 body style with the 2015 taillights. The vehicle looked good with exception to the turn signals. He move to go right and the whole light was blinking, otherwise I thought it looked good.

I agree, Its specifically why I ordered the Tahoe version of these lights and figured out the wiring. I'm thinking with a little effort..even my write could be used to convert that entire light flashing issue to true brake and true signal section flashing. I think most wouldn't wouldn't care the small signal section is red vs yellow like an authentic 2015 Escy& Tahoe version of the lights. My OCD cares though:bonkers:

Im so sorry I didnt take full documented pictures like my 'Disc Read Error Map Fix' sticky, I really waited around before I made the harness & installed. I cut zero wires, zero resistors (3 relays needed, more on this later) and just 3 taps. I found a company that sells the 6 pin male pigtail & 5 pin female so all the relay wiring and connection happens there and it simply plugs into the stock harness and new tails respectfully.

Well here is the final result...
https://youtu.be/j8aYrzjvYYg

I drew a simple diagram for a fellow Escalade owner who stopped me at a gas station & have shared it with 2 other Escy owners...its crude but can help.

The turn sig function will have to come from wire you will run to front turn signal wire (easily done) and brake light will come from 3rd brake light via a single relay for both left/right brake light

To cancel the hyperflashing, each side will need a relay as the BCM isnt looking for resistance but negative pulses. Keepin it simple...the relay takes the positive pulse from the turn sig wire & flips polarity and pulses negative the 'sensing' wire & BCM stays happy. This was very fun for me to figure out,FYI this is what the stock taillights are doing internally via a circuit board.

The 3rd relay for the brakelight, tapping the 3rd brake light wire to directly power the new tails is a no go...the BCM kills power to the light at any draw over 500ma even though its protected by a 10A fuse. The relay just carries the load as the new tails draw 700ma (IIRC) on brakelight side. I did alot of testing as you can see.

Here are a few pics

Side Reflector

I believe this is the rear reflector,it runs the entire length of light to the top. I'll confirm tonight for you

Side pic at 90deg with parking lights on

Im going to have to either modify my 1st post with pic and links or create a new thread (while locking this). I didn't take super detailed pics but Im willing to help anyone get the ball rolling.

my 6 pin connector on my 2014 escalade is completely different. Its not rectangle but square.
I emailed you but got no response,
Do you mind snapping a pic of the 6 pin harness under the truck, I'm a little shocked by all of this because even the true plug and play states for the 07-14. Just a heads up, we are not connecting to the white square connection behind the taillight., The 6 pin we are after is further upstream, under the truck. Here is a pic of my stock harness I pulled of with my stock taillight (-minus the loom)

Here is a link to PnP 07-14 lights, pics 4 and 6 have a great picture of the same harness thats on my 09

I watched this video when i was first looking at the lights, its not bad. To get English turn on subtitles (CC) then in options change them to ENGLISH, your be able to read what hes saying.

The Escalde one has some sort of adapter, where as the Tahoe does not, any ideas?
Considering it was like for like on both trucks, no idea why it would need an extra adapter
