2015 CTS V COUPE with 21k miles... ACCIDENT.... Good deal or not? Please advise

Wow, first accident within a week of purchase and another 5 months later. The person who had this coupe apparently bit off more performance than they could chew.
The true frame report wouldn't come up on my screen, but the carfax report stipulates the clean bill from true frame, so there's that.
Hope the selling price is really excellent (meaning cheap) because the car definitely has diminished value from the fender benders.
Can you provide a link to the car?

TrueFrame report stated there is no TrueFrame report as they have never seen nor touched this vehicle.

Just walk away. You don't have any idea what you are getting into, especially at speed. Nope, nada, no way.

And once someone has posted something containing the VIN of a car that is for sale, google usually comes through on finding the car. https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-for-sale/listing/1G6DV1EP6F0100405/2015-cadillac-cts-v-coupe/
^^Good point, thanks.

The price makes it very, very tempting. The dealership has likely absorbed much of the diminished value at this point, making it hard to just pass over without even considering. Cars like this are really tough calls in that you're dealing with some unknowns that should/do make most buyers very apprehensive, like how negatively will the diminished value from the previous accidents effect future resale value when you are ready to part with it? What problems might come up in the future that are related to those previous accidents? Having said that, normally I'd be completely in agreement with GM4L on skipping over any vehicle that has had any damage, but in this case if the dealership would agree to an independent inspection (at your expense) to verify the vehicles condition, it may (stress on may) end up being a good deal for you. Again, tough call.

Near the end of the carfax it indicates it passed trueframe inspection. Would be good to see the actual report though.

Wait, just double checked the carfax. If you click on the TrueFrame link it does provide a thorough review.

So what is the price for this vehicle? If it is a deal then it might be the right car. If it is priced like any other similar year, make model, miles and not a deal then I would walk. As I said, if it is priced right then maybe take a look. At least they kept the two crashes in the same left front!

I think I will take another hit on resale value if I every sell the car again.

$40k

is it a good deal ?

If your planning on driving it a long time may not be a bad deal. I would look at 2014 coupes as you can find them in the 40k range without being hit. Maybe it's priced right. Just remember you're dealing with a high end performance car that picky buyers look at. If you're looking to sell it 1-2 years from now not sure if I would buy it.

I plan on keeping it at least 5 yrs car has a lot of warranty left. and I have 4 other cars t drive also im sure I will keep the mileage down.

Thanks everyone for your input.

I swear when I spend this amount of money ($ 40k) I get sick to my stomach for some reason. Same feeling when I purchase my house urghhhhhh...

When to Marietta Georgia to look at the car. I swear you cant tell the car was hit. I test drove it and took it to CAPITAL CADILLAC in Smyrna Georgia got it inspected it passed/ no frame damage. Then I walked over to the used car manager and gave him the story and vin number he pulled it up saw the car fax and the true frame report and walked back to the service department to lay eyes on it.
Said the car took a 20% hit.
He told me to hurry and get the car.
The car dealership don't realize that they can get another $10 -$12 grand more for the car
He also mention if he would have gotten the car he would have marked it @ $ 52k retail.

I was like okay ...

So did you buy it? Seems you did your homework on this and the price seems right for the condition.
