Besides the E13 code, is there either a E45 or E44 showing too (intermittant or history)?

It wont be ready if the engine temperature is not to normal ( 195 to 210 F) Verify that thru diagnostics. 80 to 90 degrees C is the same. Should get there is 5 min. running. Or if the sensor is unplugged!!! it would not be ready. Or, if the sensor is a 2 wire sensor, its possibly not being heated.

 

Check out the suggestions of Carnut. The sensor may well be faulty and in need of replacement. The manufacturer recommends they be replaced every 30,000 miles. If the O2 sensor is faulty it's costing you money at the gas-pump.

 

Well I replaced the O2 sensor. It was bad. It wasn't working since it was broke off and was hanging by the wires! And I thought there was an exhaust leak coming from the rear manifold! :thepan:

 

Next time, before you post, open the hood!!
