1985 Fleetwood Brougham engines?

HELLO... Can anyone tell me what engines were available for the 1985 Fleetwood Brougham when new? Thx!

Are you sure the 6.0 was still around in 1985? I thought the last year for it was '82 and for commercial chassis only after '81. I think I do remember seeing a 1985 short body diesel once, but have never seen a big Fleetwood

I would rather have the 4.1 v6 than the 4100. My dad had that v6 in a Buick Park Ave. and it was actually a pretty good engine.

According to my dictionary of American Cars, the only rear wheel drive engines available were the 4100 and the 350 diesel. The Buick 6 was last used in '82, and Cadillac stopped offering the 368 in 1984, when they discontinued the Fleetwood Limousine.

Of course, if you don't like the engine, you can swap in almost any Cadillac, Oldsmobile, or Chevrolet power-plant (from the 500 to the 305; it all fits).
