That helped, its still happening just not as often

 

Yeah, my old dashcam interfered with both the radio reception and the key fob. It was very noticeable too, for example if you had the car on with FM radio selected you would just get mainly static, but as soon as you unplug the connector on the camera the radio would instantly be clear. Same with the fob, some days I had to put it in the pocket just to start the car and remote start went from 100ft range to "you better be standing on top of the car".

What about the 2nd fob. If it works, then something is wrong with the first fob. You say the battery is new - see if it is installed correctly and to polarity direction - but probably is since Dealer is saying the signal is strong - I wonder how they tested that.

Are you saying the car won`t start when the transmitter is in the pocket, because it should, even without a battery in it.

Same thing happens with both key fob, one is even brand new. No idea how they test or they just say that, but both key fob have the same issue.

 

If both fobs are doing it then it's likely an issue with the car. Have you tried disconnecting the cars battery and leaving it off for 5 or more minutes? I find this fixes 50% of the electronic issues I've had with cars.
