I assume that there is a ChargePoint or Emporia that can charge at 19.2kw?
...
No, unfortunately there is not from those vendors.

Still somewhat of a edge case at that higher power, as 11.5kW will recharge overnight for the vast majority. Most don't need more unless you have one of the big trucks with the 200kWh battery, or require rapid recharge in a short period of time.

More 19.2kW chargers keep coming out, but still not that many models exist. Thick cord, challenges with home electrical service, etc - still a premium and somewhat specialized offering.

My edge case is an aging parent a few hours away. I visit regularly, but if there is some emergency, I may have to leave work, put car on charger, pack up and go quickly, Yes the thick cord is a bit of overkill.

I recently lived that edge case, and don't know your circumstances, but I stopped at my local DC fast charge spot, used the charging time to call AmEx and have them get me a hotel booked, then was on my way. It was later in the week, so I was at about 50% charge, but by the time they'd confirmed my reservation I was charged up and ready to get on the road.

Few good DC charging stations near me. The closest is Tesla, and I have not used Tesla chargers yet, though I have an adapter. Near Mom's house, there is a good Electrify America.

Recommend you download the Tesla app if you haven't already. It will tell you which Tesla stations are open to non-Tesla vehicles and which require adapters (most open ones do). There are still a fair number of Tesla stations that are not available to non-Tesla; the one nearest me is restricted to Tesla only. And always a good idea to do a practice run.

I have a 2025 Lyriq. purchased the GM Ultium Level 2 EV Charger from the dealer 3 months in and started getting fault lite. Call Concierge hot line and they were said cycle the breaker and wait 2 minutes it cleared. next day same thing. Reset again lowered charge rate from 32 amp to 24 to lessen load. Failed again. temp gun on all contacts while under load all temps were 10 deg above ambient. called 800 # from previous post made claim and got a claim #. Was told the escalated my complaint. Called dealer and requested refund. nothing. Waiting and using the charger from trunk.

FWIW, I purchased a 2024 Sport 3 in May 2024 along with a Level 2 Ultium Charger. Charger was installed (hard wired) by professional installer (through GM). All was well for 6 months and then got the dreaded solid red fault on charger. CB resets would work for a few charges, but the fault always reappeared. Worked through my local Cadillac Dealer and they replaced the charger (I had to pay for uninstall/reinstall). Now, 6 months after second charger installed, I'm back to solid red fault. This is perhaps the biggest weakness of my Lyriq ownership! I'm headed back to dealer right now to discuss a long term solution (hopefully). Wish me luck.
