"Service Ride Control" What a pain EH! Long term fix/solution: Remove your Rear Air Compressor, send it to to Suncore Ind, and they'll send you a re-built one within a few days. That fixes your air compressor problem. . .Suncore have O.E.M. shocks as well. . . I went through the process and have amazing results. GONE! Is the Service Ride Control

My compressor was replaced at 95,000 miles...all works super, but now I have 109,000 miles on my 06. Since I intend to do a little towing this summer, I decided I don't want to be stranded with blown shocks which cold also burn out the new compressor.

I looked at various options for new shocks, starting with the dealer...they wanted $1300 for new rear shocks. I looked into regular shocks, passive Blisteins from Arnott, etc. I finally decided that I bought an Escalade because I wanted ALL of the original features, and I really like the suspension. So I started searching for something cheaper than the dealer.

FOUND IT>>>> I found a complete set of shocks....electronic front and air/electronic rear....direct factory replacements made by Monroe (who supposedly makes the OEM units) on AMAZON.COM. I pair right about $900 for the complete set...so, now I have an almost entirely new system, and retained all of the features of the factory suspension....it is NOT a tahoe, it IS an Escalade, and I want it to ride like one....works for me!!

I have made that repair 2x now on my compressor and now its become horribly loud. I finally bit it and ordered one from Arnott. I even found a 10% off coupon code 74V4-W7D

It mean there is still something in the system acting up

Yes the codes would clear after so many key cycles or with the tech 2

You can get any of the code scanners you want at local parts place but they still won't access the ride control system

Scanners that can decipher body and chassis codes are expensive because they have to pay every manufacturer a license so that they can read those codes and know what they mean ... they usually cost $1,000 or more - and for each new year of cars you have to get it updated which costs

i think snap-on's tool costs about $10,000 !!!

any good shop will have one of these more expensive scan tools and will be willing to scan your car for free for you
