During my recent purchase of another CTS(non V for my wife) I ran across a few that had the Recaros in them. First I thought whoever owned these must have just added them to their cars. Now we’ve ran across another one that we will most likely buy for my wife. She’ ecstatic about this find. Seats are the titanium Recaros and appear to be in great shape. I guess I’m just curious if this was an option back in 2012 or later? In the description it also says they’re heated and cooled, which pretty much tells me it must have been an option. I just think if someone had replaced their seats it would have been pretty expensive to add not only the Recaros, but to then add the heat and air too? Maybe someone can enlighten me a little on the packages back then. Just never realized this was an option, and don’t recall anyone here ever mentioning it. If all checks out when this car arrives, we will be buying it!

That‘s so cool I have to say! I guess I’m surprised that I just haven’t heard about it until recently. I know Momma is happy about it though. We have that particular one on it’s way here now. 2012 Premium w/Recaros Selling her Camaro and back to CTS Coupe for her as well. That’s as long as it checks out after arrival. Thanks guys

Actually I have a 2010 with those. It's a 3.6l performance version. It does have both heated and cooled front seats and multitude of adjustments. For some reason I do not like them as much as the regular seats. Design language is a bit different, rounder. Wish CTS was as good inside as STS was... I wish I still owned the STS... 🤣

I have a 2013 with a 3.6 and recaro seats. It is an awesome car. Paddle shifters on steering wheel, every option available. Buying my wife a new x6 and am putting it up for sale in a week or two. Car has had mobile 1 synthetic since day one and has been the best car I’ve ever had. Has been from California to New York to Miami several times. Best road trip car I’ve ever had.

It’s a sport wagon, by the way.

It not only has the Recaro seats, but the Alcantera steering wheel. Perhaps the previous owner found a totaled V and snagged the OEM pieces from the V. I wasn't aware these were options in non-V cars. I know I've done a few swaps like this on my cars. It's not as hard as one may think, especially when you are swapping OEM pieces.

It’s factory. On the sticker. Never seen another one. I bought it from a Cadillac dealer with 4K miles on it. Never been titled. He said it was a GM owned car and was used on the 2013 brochure. May be a one of a kind at this point. The dealer sold it to me and called a year later and told me he would give me back 2k more than I paid for it. Told him, “too late, my wife loves it.” Hate to sell it now, but I don’t have room in my garage to keep it or I would.
