Since it's a safety device, I doubt it. It will probably trip a code if you go hacking around in there.

This is really that big of a deal?

 

If it bothers you that much, put a piece of black electrical tape over it.

 

You will get used to it and not even notice it in a few days....

Most of the cars I've been in within the last decade have had those lights,I'd tape it over if it bothers you.Welcome neighbor btw

 

Quite honestly, I can't say I have ever noticed it other than intentionally looking up there.

I never even knew there was a light for the airbag. I'll go see if I can see it the next time I get inside my dts.

 

Welcome to the forum! I am sure that since it is a safety feature it will not be able to turn it off.. but if you would like to send me your VIN number I can do some research on this.
