i think you have a leaky air shock take some water and pour over thee shocks and see if it bubbles anywhere if yes then replace the shock before it burns up the compressor also check the lines with the sam method as the shocks.

 

Both Shocks are less than 2 weeks old, which leads me to believe I might have a leaking line. I will spray some Soapy Water on the line and look for bubbles (like checking a tire). I just need to know what to expect as normal.

 

What shocks did you use for the replacements - from where??

 

They are from NAPA. Stabilitrac made by Monroe. They are the OEM replacements listed by NAPA.

 

I timed it tonight. The pump runs for about 10 seconds, every 2 minutes. I am pretty sure that is not normal.... I will have to do the soap test in the morning. I will test the lines as well as the new shocks.... Any direction will be helpfull...

 

Anything new on this?

 

if there is a leak anywhere you will have to replace whatever is the source of the leak.

What did you find as the problem?

 

I have had my 2005 ESV for 2 weeks and notice mine runs for maybe 15 seconds after sitting for 8 or more hours. The only other time I hear it run is when I hook my boat trailer to the vehicle. It will run for about 45 seconds but I don't see any change in the height of the hitch.

I suspect you have a leaking fitting or a pin hole in an air line.
