What year is your truck? Has the compressor/shocks ever been replaced? They only have a life of about 120,000km or so but can fail early. Look at your rear shocks - do you see any black residue on them?

 

I actually have all the Arnott shocks and struts ready to go on, my rears are bad. One has a tear in the rubber boot.

I checked the fuses and the J-fuses for the auto level compressor is blown. I think most likely because it was kept running alot.

 

Which fuses and j-fuses are those that you checked? I looked at both the engine bay box and dash box and couldn't figure out which to check. My compressor no longer kicks on...not sure how long its been. Would like to test to see what might be the issue.

 

it's 61 or 62 fuse in the large driver side fuse panel under the hood. The j-fuses have little see through tops on them and are square in shape. I think it's number 61...

I thought an air ride compressor failure triggers a message on the DIC?

 

I would disconnect the air hose from the left shock for 20 seconds and reconnect

 

Diaconnect the relay for the compressor which is hanging outside the fuse box under the hood get one wire stripped at the ends n do a bridge inside the plug if the compressor is good it should turn on

 

You could use a multi meter and check for continuity.
