Does 2007 CTS have tire air pressure censors?

Yes, but there are certain models that don't. I happen to have one and thought I was crazy. But, caddy did issue cars with no tpms censors in them. They were typically given to the manufacturers reps and later hit the market as used vehicles. I found out by a vin search and almost filed a complaint against the used car place until I learned the car never shipped with them.

Oh, so you have the car? I thought that you were looking for a CTS that either had them or not and wanted to know how to know with out being in person.

Since you have the car, just start it and go though the menu items on the radio. Where the Trip Meters, Outside Temp, MPG Instant, MGP Average, Oil Life Monitor and such. If your CTS has the TPMS, then each of the 4 tires will be displayed there as you cycle through the display.

The CTS-V might of had the TPMS as standard. But it was installed on selected base CTS models too.

Since you don't have that information in the radio. I would presume that you don't have TPMS. Another way to check, your valve steams. If they are all rubber at the base, where the go inside the wheel, then no sensor. If metal, besides a decoration sleeve, then yes you have the sensor.

Even if you do have the sensors, you could always use them in the new rims.

By that argument, the Performance and Appearance package 06-07's should get better mileage then the rest as they had a larger diameter tire then any other 1st gen CTS. They dont, tho. Larger overall diameter increases weight further from the center, which will hurt acceleration and mileage. A larger contact patch increases friction. A wider tire increases drag. I dont agree with your statement.

Initially yes, but when you are on a highway, for a long run, going 65 MPH it's like having a 6th gear.
I compared the speed offset, with satellite navigation speed, with stock tires it use to be dead on, now is 3 miles over.
these tires are curved at the edges for low drag. Theory is one thing, this needs to be tested, so once snow is gone, I am taking my CTS for a long test run. Not to mention these are relatively lightweight rims. Performance and Appearance package 18" version does not have the same diameter as my tires, I have a higher wall height.

Judging by your 3mph over stat, you had the base 16's? According to the 1010tire calculator you are only .8 mph over the OEM 18's. If you really wanted to test this theory, why not run a larger overall diameter? You can purchase a 215/55/18 in a lot of tires, including mpg dedicated tires, and its another .3 over yours. I run an even larger diameter in the winter 215/65/17, which is almost 3 mpg over your selection. I run them until there is no salt on the ground, which is past the point when the gas stations switch back to summer fuel. I have to say Ive seen no difference in mpg and I regularly test this as I do a fair amount of 60-65 mph driving. It will be interesting to see what you come up with. I think the better option, or a good addition to the tires would be switching to some 3.23 rear gears.

Ok some correction: I am going 5MPH faster(not 3MPH) than the speedometer say, as compared to navigation.
Also In order to correctly measure MPG you can use the nav with mpg calculator, car mpg is useless at this point because the calibration is off by 5MPH.
You can compare your MPG reported by the car vs nav.
there is certainly more distance traveled per gallon that is obvious.
