Black Ice vs Black Raven

I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on these two colors. The Black Ice looks like it has the chromaflair-like treatment up close but looks dull from a distance. The Black Raven looks more like conventional paint up close but seems much more bright as you walk away. I am looking to get an 09 CTS in the next month and can't decide between these two colors. Anyone out there currently own Black Ice and have an opinion?

There is a forum somewhere about this.... a forum member I beleive stated that the crystal flakes in the black ice are not consistant but spotty.. I would go black raven... I have black raven and I love it except for it being a pain to keep clean. Good luck!!

I too have heard that any 'metallic' paint or similar can be very difficult to apply evenly as the flakes have a tendency to run or clump. I've seen some very nice quality paint jobs with metallic paints and some not so nice. I suppose, it just depends on who does it and how good their quality of work is.

I have seen both side by side...for what it's worth I think the black raven is the better choice...sharp, rich, and classic. I have also seen it on the road...absolutely stunning.
