Does having the "Afterblow" feature activated offer any advantages with keeping the condenser box free of any moisture and odors? I know it has been said that it is better to turn the AC off while leaving the blower on a few miles from your destination to dry out the box and avoid foul smells. If this is feasible, how much would a dealer charge to turn the Afterblow function on as the use a special diagnostic tool not accesible to the shade tree mechanis. I get odors sometimes but the dealer was not interested in turning this feature on to see if it resolves by issue. I don't smell anything when using the heat.
