1 Driver seat supports and massager does not work. Dealer waiting on GM to give them information how to fix. two weeks later I call and they say part should be here in 4 days.
2. Small spot on hook, dirt in paint. dealer suggest not to fix it.
3. Engine code P0606 and forward collision icon on dash. serviced.
4. Parking assist: I have to stop the car from running into another car. parking in empty spot it does not stay in the lines. will ask service about this??? does this work on the CT5 cars?
Hope that I can get everything fixed but spending this much for a car and having this many problems within in a month is leaving me a little unsure about Cadillac, car has minor updates from 2024 so bugs should have been worked out.

His title says 2025. I believe that the parking assist is based on surroundings, i.e. cars on either side or front and back for parking. The sensors have no reference if there's nothing there. As for the paint issue, I learned the hard way on this with my first new Cadillac in 1977. It was delivered with a small imperfection at the bottom of the drivers quarter where the wheel opening meets the bottom of the quarter, about the size of a nickle. not that noticeable but since GM back then used lacquer paint it was easy to blend and spot unlike today's paints. So, as a 26 year old who had paid cash for a special order $11,000 CDV, I wanted it perfect. The body shop said that they could do the small "touch up" so I agreed. When I picked the car up it was gone. HOWEVER, after a closer look I noticed a tape line underneath the painted pin stripe at the top of the quarter panel. Yep, they painted the quarter panel to fix a blemish the size of a nickle. Moral of this story, depending on what it is, it's often better to leave it alone, especially if it's something like a nit or two in the clear. FWIW. Good luck on the issues. Sounds like once corrected you should be good to go. Poop happens with new vehicles regardless of make or cost. Nothing is ever perfect in my experience.

It seems QC has been suffering a lot these last few years... I just had a 2024 XT4 loaner that has a fastener rolling around in the left center vent when you take turns. There have been a LOT of issues with the transmissions in the 2024 XT4s, and the service advisor told me they had a new vehicle come in on the transport with a hole in the door. Not a hole that was drilled after the fact, it was there from the beginning and was painted over.

Park assit & lane keep assit are two different features. park assit helps when parking & can help find a parking spot . Lane keep assit helps you stay in your lane when your doing 40 mph an up.

Yes, park assist and LKA are two different things. Park assist uses ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers to warn drivers when they're about to hit something but it does not guide you into a spot.

Many Caddies now also have the available option of a parking package that includes "enhanced automatic parking assist" (it's called various names depending on the model) and it's that package that finds a parking spot using front, rear, and side sensors/cameras and guides the driver into the spot, automatically steering while the driver uses the gear shift and gas and brake pedals.

We don't know what features the OP's CT5 has but if they have the automatic/enhanced parking assist, the car should stay within the lines of a parking spot if the feature is used properly. I have it on both my Cadillacs and it has worked flawlessly every time I've used it.

great to hear that yours works. yes, it's the fully automated parking assist.
Parking assist I have to stop it before it runs into the car that it is parking next to. I have tried it in several different situations and not once has it worked. It seems like a gimmick to me.
I will see if i can get with Cadillac support. service guy at dealer just blows me off and acts like I should not worry about that feature.

I have the 2025 CT5 V twin turbo platinum trim level. Supposed to receive late August 2024. Not delivered until March 2025 and given no reason. Was told by someone it was engineering hold but no reasons/explanation given for 7 month delay. This past weekend with 1700km went to pass someone, car bogged down and check engine light came on. App said service engine/transmission. Took to dealer, replaced fuel sensor. Next morning started and check engine light on again and app said check engine/transmission. My 3rd CT5 V, all three had a bad cell in battery stranding me. Previous 2 v's no real issues besides battery failure. Brand new one being back to dealer twice in 2 days doesn't bode well. To be continued.

UPDATE : Have been told by dealer that it needs an entirely new fuel filter. Odd for a brand new car that basically gets driven once per week and only has 2194kms on it.

UPDATE : April 28/25. Bring told they cannot find a fuel pump. Asked about approx/guess for how long. Was told maybe a month. What the actual fuck. 6+ months delay delivering. Now I don't have the car again for an unknown amount of time.
