This is the 2nd time this has happened.. walk up to car and hit the unlock button on fob. Car lights flash, doors unlock, but when you get in car and push the start button nothing happens. No lights, no power, nothing. Won't respond to jump start. Had it towed to dealership and the said they replaced the battery in fob and placed in middle console slot and car started. They said they tested battery and alternator and everything was ok and no codes. Today the same thing happened again and have tried everything and car won't start.. any ideas?

Check battery connections? tighten fuse box bolts, measure voltage at all ends of + cable? I would fully charge ity again and have the dealer load test it...those cheexy handheld things dont do much in my opinion

vehicles that are not driven much have this same issue ( ask me how I know this) we keep ours on a trickle charge because its driven about 3 -4 miles to work every day. The vehicle takes ~30 minutes to completely go to sleep which drains the battery. i bought a quality jump pack that i keep in the glovebox

can you switch batteries with another vehicle as a test? mine tested good at 2 battery shops, had the dealer test it and they said it was borderline, replaced it with a quality AGM battery and have not had issues so far

winner winner chicken dinner ! glad you found it....the dealership toads should hang their head in shame...inspect shorty carefully for lug and strand corrosion, this is a common issue, you can get a 20 bean replacement from rockauto.com - genuine GM part
