Heard plenty of people on here they tow 6-7k no problem

 

Prob 10mpg, I think Ive heard that number before while someone was pulling a boat

 

10 mpg is all we get towing our boat (6-7K). Keeping it below 65 REALLY helps though. Expect 8-9 mpg if you're on the gas pedal. Might be able to squeeze 11 mpg or so if you keep it below 60mph (not easy to do that - I know). The 6.2L pulls the weight easily (though not quite as easy as a diesel though).

 

Towing a 6500# TT my trany runs around 185 and peeks around 220 when going up a 6 or 8* grade, gas millage is consistent with what others are saying.

 

My Escalade towing experience has left me with utter confidence in the vehicle. She tows like a champ; very stable and strong.

 

Your power stroke will porbably almost get double MPGs but your escalade will have more room inside. Up to you if ya dont mind payin more for fuel.

 

I just want to know what "sports car" weighs 3,600 lbs??

 

Corvette, with a few women piled in, BMW, Camero, Mustang, all in that range of weight. I tow a 26 ft Featherlite with 4-5 snowmobiles, weight a little over 7k. I really eat fuel in the mountains, 5-8 mpg with chains in the snow, but we always get there, 10 mpg on flat ground
