I don't do Facebook, but I'm guessing you don't have the permission set up to allow anyone to view.

Nice. Two years ago I bought a 1993 Sixty Special for $950 which was sitting out in front of a pick a part junkyard...stuck in a new radiator and a fuse for the fuel management system and it has been just a wonderful car. I did replace the seats (the driver's leather was pulling apart however the other front seat and rear were just fine..but a slightly different style but cosmetically I haven't had to do anything else. Over the last two years I have had to replace the idle speed controller and the master cylinder...and that is it. Even the active suspension healed itself.

The car is my daily driver and I get more comments on how smooth it is.
The interior of the 92 is in pristine condition. And being that I'm 17 ill most certainly take as much care of it as I can. I have to say I love driving a boat around and couldn't agree more about the ride smoothness.

Wow this must be the year for restoring '92 Devilles! Finishing up all the mechanical work on mine then gonna start the body work and finally getting her a fresh paint job. Locating the door trim molding is a real pain in the butt for me right now ! Yours is project "bessy" mine is project " nelly". Good luck & keep us posted !
I think he body and the paint work will have cos about $3100 said and done. Ill know next Friday when it's finished.

Are you going to restore the vinyl roof or take it off?
Putting a new black one on

Well, considering most 17 year olds drive "sport compacts", the Deville's pretty damn big in comparison.

Just looked at the pic in post #1. That's not a Touring Sedan.
Which model is it. That's what the Cadillac dealer told me when I took it by.

It's just a base Deville. The Touring Sedan has several cosmetic differences (body color door handles and wheel well moldings, folding side view mirrors, no hood ornament, emblem on grille, cloisonné trunk emblem, 16" rims, specific seats, a steering wheel rim with grips borrowed from the Allante.....) As well as a lower final drive ratio for improved acceleration, and a quicker steering ratio.

Looks like a fun project. If it's gold edition the Cadillac symbols on the dash should also be gold. Otherwise someone just gold plated the emblems. Sometimes those cloth roofs were factory but usually they were also added later.

Def Gold. All emblems are gold and sot top is factory, the lining for the windows is rough and gapped without the soft top
