Jim, you should try Miller Motorsports Park in Utah. It's 4.5 miles with 23 turns (some with three parts) plus a 3,500 foot straightaway. I see speeds in excess of 150 MPH on the straight. Wish I could try Grattan some day....

MY V's previous owner installed a Corsa and a K&N air filter. Anyone know how much HP those upgrades should add? I am eventually gonna look for a local Dyno(D3?) to see what I'm getting at the wheels, but at this point just curious... Maybe best to not know?

 

Thanks. I have no idea how much power it is making but it is plentiful. I'm in line to get it dyno/street tuned soon so I should have numbers one of these days. I'm so pleased with the Corsa exhaust. It really is in a league of its own.

So what is involved to get to take a few laps? Grattan is only a few hours away for me. I'm not looking to sign up to do this every weekend, just wanna go have a little fun for a day.

Most times you can just can find which local car clubs are going and piggy back on their track day event. The (AROC) Alfa romeo guys were out there not too long ago and put a flyer on my window and they wanted $145 for members and $195 for non-members. When I was out there I had booked the track exclusively for 3 days which is slightly more expensive than $200.. lol.

I've seen an ls2 V with your exact mods make 339hp after being tuned. So I'm sure your in that range.

I've seen worse....and no I didn't pay anything for them. I actually took those when I had my buddy take a few laps in my car. I was snapping shots with the SLR while recording phone video at the same time lol. Next time out there I know where I need to be to get some better angles.
