ac question.., not for my caddy ..for my gmc yukon

hi guys,

my 2001 yukon has a leak somewhere in the ac system.
without filling it with freon and a dye agent to find the leak., how would you go about finding the leak ?

thats the only way really execpt to fill it and listen for a hissing noise and the feel of cold air blowing from the hoses

The only other way is to use an electronic sniffer.

I didn't know they used dye to find A/C leaks. I've never had one anyway. I just assumed everyone used those sniffers now.
