I saw that.

The driver seemed to do a fairly good job of shifting as well.

Now the question is how long will it take for Dodge to make more HP out of the Viper.

Despite what the vette guys say, the old adage holds true: there is no replacement for displacement and the Viper is king there. :)

The new Viper Coupe was handled by the Z06 in all magazine tests. I do agree though, that there is much more potential with 10 cylinders and 8.277 liters than with 8 cylinders and 7.0 liters. With no active stability control etc. on the Viper the Z06 will be everyman's car. That is if everyman has $72,000 bucks laying around. :histeric:

That article was breathtaking. To be able to get that much performance at that price is just staggering! And the car has more gorgeous curves than Catherine Zeta-Jones.

When I sold my '05 Z06, I thought I had reached the point where I no longer wanted to haul my ample ass into and out of a low slung sports car. I may have to start my Atkins diet.

Negative. The Z06 is just a car. ANY of us, given the choice, would choose Catherine! Ya' gotta have your priorities.

There are 14 Z06's in my area. I checked several other zipcodes and found results between 11 and 25. My guess would be about 200 available nationwide right now. That is if you're willing to pay a premium. And I'm not.

Unfortunately, Catherine doesn't come with an extended warranty and the maintenance/upkeep costs must be HUGE!

On the bright side, with Catherine, there is definitely no rear end problem.

lol....iiiii don't know bout you...but i'd take the car anyday!!!
I second that one, I'd much rather have a Z06 than Cathy. I mean which classified add looks better:

Catherine Zeta-Jones: Used, only driven 14,000 miles though, manual stick-shift not automatic, gently used no dings or dents, GREAT rear end, rides like the day I married her!

Corvette Z06- Brand new, manual tranny, V8 engine, top speed is near 200 mph

I don't know about you all, but a used Zeta-Jones vs a new Z06, the Z06 gets my vote!

You forgot to mention in your classified ad that the Zeta may need a new tranny as second feels sloppy. :histeric: :histeric: Oh no he didn't. Ah, yes he did!

Meh, I only need 550hp n/a plus a 300 shot to keep up with one in the 75. Totally do-able.
