Well,
I will nitpick a few things about this.
1. The "01" on the side is not even properly styled (black block-numbers with white outline]. This would have been so easy to do right, and give it some kind of visual tie to the original. Basically, this is just a orange 2005 Charger with a "01" on the side. It is in no way shape or form a "General Lee"
2. The rims are silly, for this car to even try to be a modern day interpretation of the General, you can't have chrome wagon wheels on it. Stick to rims that would be realistic for the use the car was intended for (back road chases). The grille is also too much bling to be representative of the General Lee. All this makes it nothing but a show-car trying to capitalize on the resurgent popularity of a 20 year old TV show.
3. It is not evident from the photo here whether or not the much maligned battle flag is on the roof, but I'm betting it isn't just because of it's politically/socially controversial nature [it has been omitted from Dukes of Hazzard video games already], and I don't see the WCC crew doing this, even in the intereset of being historically accurate or true to the original.
If they have it on there, then I will give them props for at least trying to do part of it right, despite the controversy. Only a photo that shows the roof panel will disclose this. If not, then they have further diluted the whole design to a point of being laughable.
Really, the General Lee should be left in the past. Any attempt to recreate something like this, which was a product of it's era, especially on a completely different vehicle and without the key exterior stylings is just never going to be taken seriously.
To their credit:
They did a very nice job of making it a two door (from what I can see in the photo) and it looks good as far as that goes.
Just my thoughts,
