Thanks! Yeah the Ninety Eight Touring Sedans are my favorite 3800 powered car ever! A 1993 Ninety Eight Touring Sedan with the S/C 3800 is my favorite V6 powered car ever! I'd buy one, but they are very hard to come by!

I know the Ninety Eight Touring Sedan is really hard to find, although they do show up on ebay every now and then. If you go to the Oldsmobile Forums from this sight and click on the Ninety Eight link, their is a really cherry one that someone recently bought off ebay. Glad to find another person who likes the Touring Sedan as much as I do.

mhm..I saw an 89 model a while back for sale, it was like a charcoal color with dark grey leather, it was in really good condition, and it was like $2000. The only reason I shyed away from it is because it had 171k miles on it, even if I had a new tranny, that mileage was too high for me, I would have bought it later, when I almost bought that T/C but it was gone....

Nice color combo, too bad it had such high mileage. Finding one in good shape is rare because most are falling into the hands of people who just don't care about the car.

The only trouble spots on the 87-90 Ninety Eight/Touring Sedan is the tranny is not as durable as it could be, and the 87-88 had a problem with their Rack in Pinion steering where it would wear out (common on most GM cars with r&p steering up until 1989. Most 87-88 Touring Sedans have had it replace by now.

The problem GM faced with the Touring Sedan was that it cost more then a Cadillac Deville so that turned many potential buyers away from the car. Sorry about going on and on about the TS but thought you may be interested in some facts about it if you didn't already know..
