I see on auxito website for a 2019 xt5 they offer a canbus adapter. Is this required for the xt5 for no error lights or any other electrical issue?

I purchased my LEDs from Carid. They provide you with options in color, brands and pricing. I'm not affiliated nor work for them but I have purchased LEDs for my various cars without any problems from them. I can't understand why GM would use halogen over LED on a premium car unless it is to save money.

I did the Auxito upgrade as well. The passenger side has failed and is very dim at all times. the fan can still be heard functioning.
I contacted Auxito, and they refused to assist in any way.

I wanted to let forum members know, they should be viewed as a consumable.

I just upgraded the Halogen headlights to the Auxito Leds on my 2018 XT5 Luxury. The lights work fine and even the auto high beams worked. However, when the headlights go on the front and rear parking asset shuts off, and the display for the backup camers has wavy lines in it. When the headlights go off the parking assist works again and the display for the back up camera if fine.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
I will call the company tomorrow and see what they say.

I purchased my 2017 XT5 premium luxury as a certified pre-owned from a dealer, unfortunately the dealer did not have the original windows sticker for the XT5. I was looking to upgrade my headlights to LED, however the headlight plug is not the same as what is shown on You-tube videos. On the You-tube videos it shows people taking off a round cover this exposing the headlight plug. The plug just has two wires for a simple change (I assume this is the stock Halogen). My XT5 does not have the same round cover and has 5 wires going into the plug. I also have the cornering lights, does this mean I already have LED headlights on the premium luxury?

You can also look under the hood at the driver's side headlight housing right next to the windshield washer reservoir. The housing has a small white sticker on it that says "made in Mexico LED". At least that's what's on my 2018.
