Guided by your video, I just completed removing the lift gate interior trim, quieting about a half dozen rattling cable hold downs and other rattles, and reinstalling the trim. I now have no rattles from the lift gate. Thanks DaveDogCaddy!
Do you need more help than following the detailed video created by @davedogcaddy posted in this thread? The instructions apply to the 2023 as well as earlier XT5's.
Pictures would be helpful, but you probably cannot post because of the low number of posts you have made.
Can you describe in detail exactly what you are looking for? There are several watching this Forum who can creatively paint a mental picture of what you are looking for.
I've looked at this video. He doesn't show how to take the trim piece off or put it on. Frustrating part is the GM sends a packing slip with part and says go online to find your part and click the documentation link. Well when I do this, there is not a link to click.
This is on the Cad Acc site regarding your trim -
IMPORTANT! Instructions for installation of this part are available through GM Service Information (S.I.) within the “Accessories Manual” section specific to the vehicle for which you purchased the accessory. For customer installation please request service instructions sheet from your local dealer. Note: Some accessories may require vehicle programming to complete the installation. Refer to the instruction sheet for details. See your dealer for additional information.
