Wonder if any having water leaks. On the Ford Truck site, models with the large sunfoof,
are leaking. My f150 limited has one but no leaks. (I dont drive much in the rain or leave out).

My escalade has the smaller old school which i like. Our XT5 does not leak but has not been in the rain.

Is GM having problems with the larger sunroofs ??????

Over the last 8 years, we've had two Jeep Grand Cherokees and now the XT5 with "panoramic" sunroofs and no leak problems at all. The rear glass section should be well sealed as it is stationary. The front section is only slightly larger than a standard sunroof, and uses the same channel and drain systems, so I see no reason for it to be more likely to leak than any other sunroof.

We had a 2011 SRX and traded for a 2017 XT5 when they came out -both have never had a leak, even in high power car washes!

I do not like sunroofs at all. They are a problem waiting to happen. If I had a choice I would delete it but when you buy off the lot there's much choice most of the time. I almost never use mine. A while ago the motor in my Highlander burnt out and the dealer wanted $700 to replace it. No way.

They won’t leak unless the drain tubes get plugged up or disconnected.

My 2017 XT5 went into the dealer for a leak along the left a post. Dealer states cracked sunroof housing needs replacement. Any sealants I could use if I find the crack.

Are you sure it is not a clogged drain tube?

I can pour water down the drain tube. Thanks for the suggestion
