So my wife's XT5 is needing a Engine Coolant Water Outlet (thermasat we call them) I looked up the part on the GM parts website, I think it was a little over $100.00. They are charging us a little over 200.00 total is $1014.00. I know this has been an issue with many of these. It has just over 60 thousand miles. I guess we are getting soaked?

if you are under the 7 year 70k mile warranty then cadillac will replace this for you free. check into it.

What is the date your 2017 XT5 was put into service? That is the date first titled? The Powertrain Warranty is 6yr 70,000 miles. Looks like your mileage qualifies, but does the time in service? Perhaps you can talk nicely to the dealer for a courtesy adjustment if slightly out of warranty.
