i just replaced my xm module and now i am not getting an xm menu under the presets??
I am just getting fm 1 fm 2 and am
anyone had this before or do i need programming with the tech 2?
maybe it is possilbe the nav unit i put in did not have XM with it?? :stirpot:

oh that right, I remember.
I'm not sure how to program it so that it recognizes XM but my dealer told me that it's required when you replace the module or you'll have the problem you're experiencing.

XM ran out in my friends Tahoe...when he called XM they walked him through the process. They should be able to tell you how to get it.WENT BACK TO CAR AND NOW IT WAS SHOWING THE XM MODES!!

Not sure if that helps...
its on a chanel of xm. dont remember which. just keep scrolling till u find it.
Mine did it also...never came back, just pull the bat cable and let it sit a bit and reconnect. All should be well.
