I've had my sights set on an XLR-V for quite a while. However reading the forum there seems to be some major issues with replacement parts (and higher than average insurance costs). I love the retractable hard top on the XLR but the Corvette's removable targa top is nice as well. Corvette costs more on the used market but is a lot newer.. anyone care to give opinions on which one I should go for?

I've took the newer Vette on a test drive and enjoyed it, have not been in an XLR yet.

That's to be expected with a car that only had 2,188 examples built over a 4 year lifespan that ended almost a decade ago....

If you're worried, get the Corvette. If you want to be different, get the XLR.

Parts can be a bit hard to find, but as member above mentioned, you’ll definitely get people’s attention!
