I have 2008 SRX with factory HID xenon

My front passenger HID low beam side was flickering so I changed the bulbs to Philips xenon,
I replaced the xenon on Jan 2017 and the passenger side turned blue on mid 2019. SO,
I replaced the xenon on October 2019 ( again ) and passenger side turned blue on December 2019 ( again ) so I Decided to change the ballast to see if this problem will be solved but nothing happened unfortunately

Does any one know what’s the problem with it ? What’s making it turning blue ?
Please help

Hid bulbs “color shift” over time, the color increases in temperature (k value) it’s pretty normal. I don’t think there’s anything you can do to prevent it.

I was in love with the HIDs when I first bought my SRX but the novelty wore off. I wanted something more modern so I decided to switch to LED D1S style bulbs that by-pass the ballast. Ordered them on amazon for $85/set made by DZG, they’re 6000k in color but I like the bright white/blue color. I also have a set of 18,000 lumen 110w 6000k aukee high beam bulbs that are down right ridiculous for brightness, all in all the LED bulbs are pretty nice.

What is the commercial designation of the Philips ?
Extreme vision
White vision
Xenon Standard
Vision

Many counterfeits (Phillips, osram, ring, etc...), i prefer Osram, Who have make a label with production code and website for check if it is genunine parts. OSRAM Trust Program | OSRAM Automotive
In my case, i have use nightbreaker, no flickering, no problem. Just the seal of the ballast who make entre water.

We have a saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If you replaced the ballast and the lights continue to turn blue, maybe the bulb itself has aged and is now "worn out". My car had halogens, but I put LEDs in when I bought it. The light is white and bright. Be sure if you get LEDs, that the orientation of the LEDs is right for your housing/projector. Otherwise, the light pattern will be very bad and will blind other drivers.

Edit: I missed the post where you said you replaced the bulbs in December. I would still recommend LEDs. Less expensive and less maintenance. The latter is important since it is such a hassle to replace the lights in these cars!

Here's the others that are supposed to be brighter, and a bit more expensive.

I don't know how well these fit the light fixture, but the ones I bought fit fine.

Here's the thread with pics of the pattern before and after LED install.
