But Cadillac said they were going to be leading GM's electric conversion. What a bunch of idiots.

I was doing a new truck model, diesel engine and transmission combination, testing at the GM testing grounds in 1988 and I saw they where testing an ALL electric car they had build back then.

My understanding is that Hummer is to be an electric pickup truck model within the GMC brand to compete with similar vehicles from Tesla, Bollinger, Rivian, etc. and Cadillac will still be GM's lead brand for electric cars and SUVs.
