There was a recent post here (yesterday??) where someone wanted to sell a black V with 57k miles on it. Some mods on it; he was asking what it was worth.

Do a search.

Thanks no rebuilders. Any in the Midwest? I may be willing to trade my 2002 Camaro SS convert.

I saw a Black 2004 with 16,000 miles for $29,000 at a car show on Saturday. I'll be there again this weekend, if the car is there I'll get the number for you.

BTW, the car looked perfect.

I saw the car again, 2004 Black with Chrome wheels, 16,000 miles. The car is absolutely FLAWLESS! No extended warranty, owned by an older gentleman that has never replaced the original F1's (yeah, they're dust) so this car been babied. 1-2 bypass and Chrome factory (no curbs) wheels are the only upgrades. Oh yeah, this doesn't have a hole in the roof.

$29,000 Buy this one. I got his # off the sign (714) 751-1633.

I found a 05 with only 16K miles for $30K in mint condition. Im excited to get motoring. The first thing I did was take off the CTS logo on the trunk lid. I think it takes away from being a V

I can picture a V meet. You say to a group of owners who have CTS-Vs, STS-Vs and XLR-Vs, "I have a V!"

"Oh yeah? What kind?"
"A V."
"Yeah, what kind of V?"
"A V."
"Sure buddy..."

I don't get it. I own a CTS. You bought a CTS. You must need self-esteem...
I feel the same way- it's a CTS-V- end of story.

Taking the CTS logo off is like driving around in a C32 AMG and telling everyone who asks what kind of car it is "It's an AMG". V is not a model, it's a designation for the highest performance level of a given Cadillac model: In this case, the CTS.
