...on my '05 V? I don't have the radio controls and would like them. Is the car prewired to accept this wheel, or is it more involved? Thanks!

At the very least you are going to have to switch out the wheel, clockspring, and column harness. If you have to swap the entire column you are in for a lot of fun, half our security system is located in the column.

I actually have one of those steering wheels in my garage that came out of one of the CTS's from the Matrix II :)
Hmmm...sounds like fun :bigroll: Now the Matrix wheel, that'd be cool just as a conversation piece! I guess I can just take my right hand off the wheel every now and then, and move it a few inches to the right. Thanks for the input!

^^you'd also need a new turn signal stalk....if you wan't to keep cruise control that it....it's very possible, I know when I had my nav changed out and the computer reprogrammed the cruise control buttons did some wierd things...such as making the radio volume go up, but not down, turned the A/C temp up..and some other things, so it's all in the programming of what you want those buttons to do...cts's can configure it..but they have buttons that read 1-2-3-4....so it's possible even w/out changing the wheel...but you'd prolly lose cruise control, unless you could add some buttons in there to take care of that...it's doable, but how much time/money do you have???

Some very interesting info, Can any GM Techs elaborate on this , its worth some $$ for me to have audio controls rather than cruise that i dont use.
