I just saw this on the '93-'96 Fleetwood..... the driver side power seat switches are the same, except they have 2 memory settings...... what exactly made the memory work? was it the switch itself, or part of the ob board computer system?

If I was to find one of these switches (whole plate) and put it in my car..... would it work, and would I gain the memory features? my power seat switches are just like this, but without the buttons for memory.....

Im not sure if it will work, but I doubt it will.... it might, though.... Chances are it has different harness connectors.....

One thing to do is go to a junkyard and take one out. If the switch has extra "stuff" on the back that looks like it is not related to the two extra buttons and switch, it may work. If not, look in the immediate area and around the seatfor any boxes that some of the wires from the switch plug into. If you still don't see anything, then it pretty much won't work as it s likely run off of some other computer in the car.
