I was looking for some inexpensive wheels to slide(drift) and change. If I were to get a set of the 18 inch wheels off of a srx will they work okay. I also figured I could save money with the wheels being 8 inch and run smaller tires to burn up.

No.

The brakes will hit the wheels. You can search for STS-V wheels on a V. The solution for that combo was to get longer studs and spacers. It might work for SRX wheels too. IDK

Cut the guy some slack, when you search, the keyword has to be at least 4 letters long.

To the OP. Unless you ebay some used OEM rims, about the cheapest aftermarket rims you will find will be either the Team Dynamics (approx 1300), or the Rota's (approx 1100???).

I have some nice chrome never mounted SRX wheels I will sell you that won't fit your V. Cause they don't fit mine. I'm guessing you would need about a 1/2 inch spacer and longer lug nuts to use them.
