will pac-os-2c-cts harness keep the databus "healthy" if i remove the factory amp?

I've got the money saved and i'm ready to put a full audio system in the car. before i started i wanted to do a bit of research. I've saw it stated somewhere that the databus becomes unhealthy if you remove the factory nav unit. Enter the pac-os-2c-cts harness, which supposedly prevents that and allows to retain onstar chimes etc, which i don't care about. i just want to put in a double din, 2 amps, and a full set of speakers with 2 12's in the trunk.

What i want to know is, whether or not i will be able to remove the factory bose amp and all speakers without causing electrical problems. I couldn't find much info on it in the forums.

I use the same PAC-OS-2C-CTS harness adapter with my 2 din unit - but I'm using it to play through the factory amp, sub and speakers, and to tie in the steering wheel controls (Metra ASWC-1, hold down the music note button on the wheel in the center of the volume control to get it to program for CTS.) It seems to me if you use this, but disconnect the amp and use RCA outs to your own amp with your own speaker wiring, I don't think anything would go wrong. The radio is where the smarts are for the info center, not the amp.
