I have an 05 escalade that I had to bring to the auto body shop.
I got a yukon XL standard, not a denali, from HERTZ for a rental.
First of all, its averaging almost 17 miles per gallon, compared to my Escalade
averaging about 11 miles per gallon.
Secondly, it seems to accelerate with way less noise and smoother. My escalade seems like it struggles to accelerate.
Whenever I hit the gas whether coming from 0mph, or 40mph to 60mph it is just as fast as my escalade, if not faster and much smoother, you don't hear the engine struggling.
I don't know a lot about engines and cars other than owning everything from a lexus gs400 to a 2005 sts, to a deville, to a ford f150, to a yukon denali, to a 05 escalade.
Why is this standard yukon accelerating smoother and seemingly better than my escalade, and also giving me a smoother, quieter ride?
