Sorry guys, I am working on Saturday. I would love to autoX. Too bad the Yanks lost tonight. I am pissed. Gonna go find me someone to run, hopefully.

Maybe if the autoX is on a Sunday, I would be able to make it. Good luck, and do the V proud.

The rule of thumb for increased HP because of colder intake air temps is 1% increase in HP for every 10 deg F the intake air temp is reduced. My V has been running about 130 deg F intake temps this summer. I have water methanol injection, and when I step on it and the injection comes in, the intake temps drop to about 90 deg F. On 430 HP [crank], the increase would be about 4% x 430 or about 17 HP at the crank--give or take.

Is that a Snow Performance unit or ???

Figure I've seen my 150 degree IAT's on the maggie drop to about 90 or so (according to a log from this a.m.). So, 1,000 HP x 6% = wait a minute, I don't have 1,000 HP :D

The 1% per 10 degrees doesn't account for what the PCM does with high IAT's (pull timing, modified fuel maps, etc.).
