white nav screen

I just purchased a 2003 escalade it has navigation package and in the back it has headrest monitors and a dvd player under the seat. The navigation screen is white in the front and does not show anything on it. It does still play music and cds but you have to listen your way around. there is no adjusting anything but the volume. lol. I was wondering if there was a fix for this or if it means that the unit is shot. thank you for all your help.

No idea on this one. If you are saying the display on the head unit is always white with nothing else, I'm not sure what would cause that other than an internal problem. Maybe others have an idea.
