How can I tell which model of the VVT 3.6L I have in my 08’ SRX AWD ? When trying to order a timing chain set there’s a lot of options from Rockauto. They mention a silent upper unit and some come with gears and some don’t. None come with the VVT gear and some have chain link counts. How can I tell which is the correct package for my SRX. Do I need the serial number to tell which engine it has or are they all the same in 2008 ? I’ll probably order the most complete package. Should I also order the VVT sprocket/gear ?
