I'm looking at two style of VERDE rims

the helix and scorpion

In you ppls opinion is verde a good quality rim and which one would you guys go with??

my caddy is a champange color with the side skirts.

the first one is the helix second is scorpion.

The size will be 18's because i still want a smooth ride, no bumpiness because of too thin tires.

the rims are the same price. 180 over the net and 230 at the local rim shop.

All I can see is if you get the ones on the right, you'll slice the hell out of your hands when cleaning and polishing them. Are those actually pieces of pointed, sharpened chrome alloy coming out of the center hub towards the rim? Wheels by Jack the Ripper, eh?

Not my cup-a-tea, but if I had to make a choice, I would go with the first rim - for all the reasons Jim gave on the 2nd set.

Remember what offset you need.

That being said, the first ones look better. More class.

I had a Deville in the same color, it must have looked exactly like yours. It's called Frost Beige.

Since you're going 18's, have you ever thought about Vogues?

I Also Have A 96 And It Looks Just Like Mine. I Vote For First Set Of Rims. I Switched From Alum. To Steel On My Stock 16 Inch Rims. They Are Of Course Have More Shine And Look Nicer.

first one....keep in mind, your caddy will never ride the same...especially if you have bigger size wheel and its steel......i bought steel 18's and sold them after a week b/c the ride sucked so much....too much unsprung weight and its bouncy......i now have 18" diablos.. aluminum wheel, ok ride...but not the stock rims
