Hello.
Where can I find a test pipe (temporarily— in place of the catalytic converter) for my 1989 Brougham d’Elegance? This is the usual 307 motor (140 HP), stock otherwise with your basic muffler at the end (not attempting a complete straight-pipe project here).
Most places that sell test pipes don’t seem to have any for the ‘89 Brougham.
Even rockauto doesn’t have one that I can find.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

This spring I bought an '86 with the same engine. Someone replaced the converter with a straight pipe. The pipe looked relatively new, in fact all of the exhaust looked new. It looked to also have the side small pipe connected to the emissions pipe also.

I plan on taking that out and putting back in the converter when I get it to a shop.

The car is at Ziebart this week. When it comes back I will look to see if there is a label on it. Possibly someone custom made it. I don't really know.

I didn't see any label. I bet this was shop made. When I felt around the emissions side pipe it felt like someone welded that into the side and then welded it to the emissions pipe. You can kind of see it in the first photo.
