Where to buy wheel speed sensor?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows of the best place to buy a replacement wheel speed sensor for a 1999 Deville. From what I've been reading, I guess that this comes as a complete unit with the hub and bearing. Also has anyone had experience in replacing one of these assemblies? The one that I would need info on is the left rear (C1227 code). Thanks in Advance...Mark

I found the hub assembly through a friend of a friend, who owns a car quest auto parts store for $ 150.00. That was a far better deal than what cadillac wanted ($425.00 list). But, I would still like any input on the R&R of the hub unit. Thanks.......
$150 is a really hard deal to beat.... I didn't get that much off from my friend's auto parts store.:(

It's not too difficult to R&R the hub/bearing. Remove wheel, caliper, rotor, axle nut, disconnect wire, three bolts, pull hub off axle (be prepared, you may need a bearing puller but usually not). Reverse the process for reinstall. The only unusual tools you may need are the socket for the axle nut and a bearing puller. The rest is pretty straightforward. You can get an AC-Delco hub/bearing new from www.rockauto.com for $230. That one has been tested on your car. Anything else is uncharted territory. For $80 difference, I think I'd rather know that I have OEM-spec equipment, not some low-grade Chinese knockoff, but that's just me. You might check www.gmpartsdirect.com also, they seem to have good prices, but navigating their catalog is a PITA.

Good luck. Let us know what you do and how it turns out.
