There are 3. There are two that are in the radiator on the drivers side, they are actually coolant switches that active the cooling fans. There is a coolant temp sensor that the ECU gets its readings from. That sensor is located in the coolant bridge, that is in the very far back top of the block, by the firewall, under the intake plenum.
